YouTube Downloader+ (not to be confused with YouTube Downloader) is a free, cross platform Java-based app that lets you download and save YouTube videos.

Although YouTube Downloader+ isn't exactly sophisticated, it is at least fast and very easy to use. To download a video, paste in the URL of the YouTube video you want to download and click Download - simple as that. Videos are saved FLV (Flash) files in the location of your choice.

There are virtually no preferences but you can run multiple downloads and pause downloads. You can also contact the author via e-mail directly within the client and enter your own e-mail address if you want a reply. The only other option is to change the language. YouTube Downloader+ may not be the best looking YouTube downloader out there but it's simple and effective.
