Axara Video Converter is an all-in-one video converter, downloader, editor and DVD ripper. It's compatible with most formats, so pretty much any video you have can be made to work on any device you own.

Of the four parts to Axara Video Converter, the converter is the biggest. Simply drag in your source video, and then either choose from the large collection of conversion profiles: PC, DVD, iPod, PSP, mobiles and many more. For normal use, after choosing a profile you need only to click the Convert Now! button. More advanced users can choose to edit the profiles and tweak settings, like bit rates and so on.

The editor is pretty basic, but easy to use. You can cut our parts you don't want, for example end credits or ads, and then return to the converter or ripper and carry on. This video editor is fine for basic things, but is not advanced enough for professional users.

Axara Video Converter's downloader allows you to grab video from a number of popular sites, including YouTube, MySpace and MetaCafe. All you have to do is paste in the URL, choose the destination folder and off you go. IT's very easy, and of course these videos can then be converted however you like. The DVD burner is easy to use, but missing the ability to add menus, or any other cosmetic features.

Overall, Axara Video Converter is a comprehensive but basic tool for editing, burning, downloading. The conversion options are very good, and should cover all of your needs.
